The concept of hard work, pain and sacrifice in order to achieve the outcome that you
desire is one that is often forgotten. Most products or services are geared toward the
average quick fix member of our society. Few people want, enough to sacrifice in order
to get.
      Exercise and getting in shape is probably one of the most difficult things to do. It takes
a high tolerance for pain and discomfort. I would even go so far as saying that we must
feel the need for pain. We must grow comfortable with feeling uncomfortable. One can
not expect to find a magic routine or pill that will suddenly transform their physique in as
little time as possible.
      The fear of pain, lack of comfort and unhappiness seems to distract most people from
accomplishing more with their lives. This internal quest for comfort and stability forces
most people to move away from long term commitments. Instead people will search for
simple things that will bring about quick satisfaction and comfort. Sometimes we must
feel the pain of reality. Even savor it. Grow so accustom to the taste that we don’t
recognize it anymore. It becomes part of us. We must feed on it and push forward.
Channel your discomfort, anger and depression and realize it is part of life. Yes, the harsh
reality of reality.
      Grow accustom to loneliness and don’t feel insecure about being alone.
Remember what you are trying to accomplish. Stay focused and proceed without regret.
